The Woztics are a friendly community of human-like aliens (known as Tics) living on a small, undiscovered planet deep within a distant galaxy. Their planet is called Woz – and that’s where their name comes from: the Woz Tics.
The Tics all share the same egg-shaped appearance and live peacefully in a small settlement called Woz Town. They have no hair, ears, or noses – yet can hear and smell perfectly. Each has three toes, three fingers and a thumb, and their bright blue eyes give them a constant air of curiosity. Males wear blue-and-white robes and caps, females wear pink-and-white. Adults stand at 3.7 feet tall, and children at 2.75 feet. They speak in a gibberish-sounding language that they all understand – even if no one else can.
Woz Town used to be a dull, grey, lifeless place. That is, until a mysterious time-travelling Tic from the future appeared. His name? Fudo Futuristic. His mission? To transform this sleepy backwater into a joyful, vibrant paradise. But to do it, he needed help.
Fudo soon brought in three more future Tics to form his elite team:
Ludwig Lunatic - the wild inventor
Larry Logistic - the calm planner
Olly Optic - the visionary with a sharp eye for detail
Together, the four of them built a secret lab and tapped into a wormhole that allowed them to receive Earth’s radio and TV signals. Inspired by Earth’s culture, creativity and colour, they used this knowledge to reimagine Woz Town. The result? A thriving, lush paradise bursting with life. Woz Tics began designing their own homes, shops, schools and more – a true civilisation was finally blooming.
But Fudo’s plan went even further. The next big leap? A Transformation Chamber – a device that could turn selected Tics into unique human-style characters, each with their own appearance, trade, and personality. The goal was to give Woz Town more flavour, more fun… more individuality.
The first attempt, however, was rushed. The chamber malfunctioned and turned a volunteer Tic into a monstrous, mutated mix of parts. Thankfully, he turned out to be kind and clever, and was welcomed into the lab team as Gunther Genetic – a walking reminder of the project’s early mistake… and now its greatest asset.
With Gunther’s help, the lab was rebuilt, and a new volunteer – a female Tic – bravely stepped forward. This time, the scan showed she had all the traits to become a beauty consultant and hairdresser. The countdown began… 3… 2… 1… Success! She was transformed into a stylish, skilled, and very excited new version of herself – the first fully-formed human-style Tic. Her new name? Carly Cosmetic.
From there, the project took off. After weeks of careful scanning, interviews and selections, 71 more Tics were chosen to be transformed. These were characters inspired by different Earth cultures – English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Jamaican, Australian, and more – each with their own accent, flair, and job.
Together with the original time travellers and Gunther, there were now 76 Woztics in total. The core four time travellers remained central – the thinkers, inventors, and guardians of the town’s future. The others? A colourful, diverse cast who brought flavour, humour, and chaos to everyday life in Woz Town.
Each transformed Tic was given a unique name based on their personality and job. All second names ended in “-tic” (naturally), and all first names started with the same letter and matched their new cultural identity. For example, Carly the beauty expert became Carly Cosmetic. All stories refer to characters by their first name only – keeping things friendly and fun.
As Woz Town filled up, so did the opportunities for comedy and adventure. Some new characters were helpful. Some were troublemakers. All of them were hilarious.
The Woztics are funny, emotional, slightly controversial, and endlessly entertaining. With 5 central characters (Fudo, Ludwig, Larry, Olly and Gunther) and a cast of supporting extras that rotate in and out of episodes, there’s endless potential for humorous storylines, topical adventures, and light-hearted life lessons.
This is not just a show – it’s a world. And the fun has only just begun.
